PROJECT INTRO

Osmos is an innovative medication management system designed to assist users in adhering to their prescribed treatment plans.

The system comprises an Android mobile application and an integrated physical device, working together to provide timely reminders and accurate tracking of medication intake.

PROJECT CHALLENGE

The primary challenge was to create a seamless integration between the mobile application and the physical device to ensure synchronized medication reminders and tracking.

The system is needed to support customizable medication schedules, provide real-time notifications, and maintain accurate records of medication adherence. Additionally, ensuring a user-friendly interface and reliable performance across various Android devices was crucial.

PROJECT SOLUTION

To address these challenges, we developed the Osmos Android application using modern development frameworks to ensure compatibility and optimal performance.

The application allows users to input their medication schedules, set personalized reminders, and receive notifications when it's time to take their medication. We implemented Bluetooth connectivity to facilitate seamless communication between the mobile app and the physical device, ensuring synchronization of reminders and adherence data. The physical device is designed to alert users through auditory and visual cues, complementing the mobile app's notifications. We also incorporated data encryption and secure storage practices to protect user information. The user interface was designed with simplicity and accessibility in mind, featuring intuitive navigation and clear displays to accommodate users of all ages. Through these efforts, Osmos provides a reliable and user-friendly solution to support individuals in managing their medication regimens effectively.
