PROJECT INTRO

Siyab Trading, based in Muscat, Oman, specializes in fire safety and protection services, as well as workwear solutions.

To effectively reach and serve both English and Arabic-speaking clients, they developed a bilingual e-commerce website, siyabsite.com, offering a comprehensive range of products and services in both languages.

PROJECT CHALLENGE

The primary challenge was to create a bilingual e-commerce platform that provides seamless navigation and content accessibility for both English and Arabic-speaking users.

This required implementing a structure that supports right-to-left (RTL) text orientation for Arabic, ensuring accurate translations, and maintaining a consistent user experience across both language versions. Additionally, the platform needed to effectively showcase a diverse range of products, including fire safety equipment and workwear, while facilitating secure online transactions.

PROJECT SOLUTION

To address these challenges, the website was developed using the WordPress platform, leveraging its flexibility and extensive plugin ecosystem.

A multilingual plugin was utilized to manage content in both English and Arabic efficiently. The design was tailored to accommodate RTL text orientation for Arabic, ensuring readability and aesthetic consistency. Navigation menus, product descriptions, and service information were meticulously translated to provide accurate and culturally appropriate content for users in both languages. The e-commerce functionality was seamlessly integrated, allowing customers to browse products, add items to their cart, and complete purchases securely.
