About
My FID

My FID is a retirement-planning application by Finomatic Fintech Services. It starts with a relatable question—what could your future look like?—then helps people bring their retirement choices into focus through a guided, personal journey.

From retirement age, family details, income, savings and expenses to inflation and investment assumptions, each step makes the picture more specific. The result is an understandable plan status, a detailed plan view and a clear next step when an advisor's help is needed.

The Challenge.

View on Play Store

Making an emotionally distant, data-heavy decision feel personal, approachable and actionable on a small screen.

Retirement planning asks people to think across decades while supplying several sensitive, unfamiliar financial inputs. My FID needed to earn attention before it could ask for that information—without oversimplifying the choices that shape a person's future.

The experience therefore had to pace the journey carefully: create motivation with a future-self moment, collect planning details in manageable steps, explain the resulting plan status, and connect people to support when they needed a more informed next move.

The Solution.

We designed a mobile journey that starts with imagination and ends with a practical plan. Each screen has one job: motivate the user, collect a meaningful input, make the result legible or help them decide what to do next.

Experience Focus

A motivating visual entry point

Progressive financial-plan inputs

Clear outcomes and advisor hand-off

The experience opens with an age-simulation moment that makes a faraway retirement goal more personal before users begin the practical planning journey.

Clear, one-question-at-a-time screens capture retirement age, family context, income, savings, expenses and financial assumptions without overwhelming the user.

The product converts completed inputs into an easy-to-read plan status, helping users understand whether their current path is on track or needs attention.

A structured overview gathers the important assumptions and post-retirement picture in one place, so the plan stays understandable beyond the first result.

When a plan falls short, My FID gives users a clear route to request an investment-plan conversation instead of leaving them at a difficult result.

Profile, notifications, learning content and support touchpoints help the product remain useful as a user's situation and plan evolve.

Technology Stack

A focused mobile foundation.

My FID pairs a Flutter interface and Dart application layer with a Node.js backend for its guided retirement-planning experience.

The Impact.

My FID turns a retirement-planning conversation into a guided product experience with useful moments before, during and after the first plan:

  • A personal reason to begin: the future-self visual reframes retirement from an abstract calculation into a decision with human stakes.
  • A paced planning flow: essential life and finance inputs are broken into focused, understandable mobile steps.
  • An interpretable result: on-track and fall-short states make the current position clear without burying the user in jargon.
  • A plan that can be revisited: the overview, profile and notification areas keep key planning information close at hand.
  • A supported path forward: users can move from a plan outcome to relevant learning, support or an advisor-request flow.
